Deposit and Final Payment

• Upon your reservation, your credit card will be charged an advanced payment of one night's stay plus tax. Your credit card deposit payment secures your booking of Legacy Venue & Suites. Please see cancellation/refund policies below.
• Upon check-in, the balance will be charged to the credit card provided. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. No cash please.
• Balance of payment is due at check-in.
• Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the client’s acceptance of these POLICIES (TERMS AND CONDITIONS).
  

Building and Room Access

Before arrival, you will be sent a text with the keycode for both building entry and room entry or you will receive a text with the door code to your particular Venue & Suites Rentals. For your safety and the safety of other guests, we ask that the keycodes not be shared under any circumstances. Please keep your codes in a safe place so you can easily retrieve them.

Cancellations

• Please be aware of our CANCELLATION POLICIES.
• If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, shorten your stay or check out early, please be aware of the following cancellation policies.
  

Reservation Cancellation

Please contact us at least two (2) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. Please see REFUNDS if you must cancel in less than two (2) days of your arrival.

Special Rate Reservations

Please contact us at least thirty (30) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. Please see REFUNDS if you must cancel in less than thirty (30) days of your arrival.

Refunds

• NO refund of the deposit will be made for reservations cancelled with less than 2 days’ notice.
• NO refund of the deposit will be made for reservations cancelled on special event weekends with less than 30 days’ notice.
• NO refund of the deposit will be made for No Shows.
  

Extenuating Circumstances for Host Cancellations:

In the rare instance where extenuating circumstances arise, your host may need to cancel a confirmed reservation. In such cases, host will refund the deposit (one night's stay) in full. Extenuating circumstances include:



• Death in the family
• Serious illness or serious illness in the family
• Natural disaster
• Property damage or sale of property
• Maintenance issues that affect the ability to host
  

All rates are subject to change and may vary during high impact periods.

Number of Guests

Number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the reservation, not to exceed two (2) adults and one (1) child per room.

Smoking

Absolutely No Smoking, Vaping or use of other tobacco products are allowed on the property. Smoking is allowed outdoors only, but respect of the property and proper disposal of trash(butts) must be maintained at all times.

Noise

Disturbance to the neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental. Guests must not create noise which is offensive to neighbors, especially between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. and during arrival and departure at any time throughout the occupancy. Please observe this "quiet time" policy.

Regarding excessive noise, guests and visitors must comply with any instructions from Innkeepers, Anthony & Ophelia Topps.

Guests and visitors must abide by any noise abatement conditions, standards, and orders issued by police or any regulatory authority to minimize impacts upon the amenity of neighbors and local community.

Loss and Theft

The owner assumes no responsibility for the tenants' personal property.

Fire

NO open flame, outdoor fires, or candles are allowed.

No Pets

No pets are allowed at Legacy Venue & Suites.

Children

Children aged 12 and younger must be monitored and accompanied by an adult at all times while on the property, taking special care around the stairs (Suites).

Missing Items

Moved items may be considered as missing items, so please ensure that, if furniture or equipment is moved around, all items are returned to the original place where they were found.

Security

Keep Exterior Doors closed. For the protection of you and your belongings, keep interior room doors closed and locked.

Additional Costs

• Damaged furnishings or equipment will result in an additional charge to include the cost of repair or replacement, plus a minimum fee of $300.
•  Cleaning fee for odor removal due to smoking inside, which is prohibited, will be a minimum fee of $300.
• Clean-up of vomit, bodily waste, or other biohazards will result in a minimum fee of $300.
  Violation of no-pet rule at Legacy Venue & Suites will result in a minimum fee of $300.
  

Gift Certificate Policies

Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable with prior approval. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.

Location

• Legacy Venue & Suites is located in downtown Grenada at 113 First Street with proximity to shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, business offices, government buildings, and library.
• Grenada is home to Grenada Lake. Grenada Lake is the nation’s #1 Crappie fishing lake and is home to Grenada Lake Welcome Center/Museum, annual fox hunting, and Thunder on Water.
• Grenada is home to Legacy Venue & Suites building and First and Green event centers, Downtown Jubilee, Afterglow Film Festival, and Dogwood Golf Course (public golf course with fees).
• All Legacy Suites rooms are located on the second level (no elevator). All rooms feature a king-sized bed, television, armoire, desk, and relaxing seating. Each room has its own bathroom.
• The Suites rooms are uniquely named to depict the historical significance of the building or of Grenada. The room names are Trusty’s, Pittsburg, Grenada, Tullahoma, and Cuff.
• All suites' bathrooms contain a shower, sink or vanity, commode, personal toilet articles, hair dryer, and extra towels. Wall hooks have been installed for your convenience.
  

Parking

Street parking is available at the Legacy Venue & Suites on First Street and around the downtown square.

Breakfast

• Our guests at Legacy Venue & Suites on the square will enjoy a breakfast each morning. A continental breakfast of muffins, breads, fruit, orange juice, coffee, tea, and snacks are stocked in the kitchen for your enjoyment.
  
• A microwave, coffee pot, coffee, and teas are provided in the kitchen.
  

Communications

Wi-Fi is provided at all locations.

Kitchen

• At Legacy Suites, eating and relaxation areas are available in the kitchen, along with a television. Plates, glasses, cups and flatware are provided.
• At Legacy Suites, no cooking by guests is allowed except for warming in the microwave.
• Please place used dishes in the dishwasher as a courtesy to other guests.
  

Deck

At Legacy Suites, our upstairs deck provides additional space for relaxation. Overlooking the rooftops of downtown Grenada, our deck is equipped with ample tables and chairs for breakfast or afternoon/evening mingling and conversing with your old and new friends.

Smoking

NO SMOKING, VAPING, OR USE OF OTHER TOBACCO PRODUCTS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. THIS INCLUDES GUESTS THE RENTER(S) MAY INVITE TO RENTED ROOM FACILITIES AT “Legacy Venue & Suites”.

The Owner assumes no responsibility for the personal property of Renter(s), Renter(s)’ agents, or Renter(s)’ guests.

Exterior door must be closed at all times. For protection of you and your belongings, keep the exterior door closed and locked if the venue is not occupied.

Parking

Street parking is available on First Street and around the downtown square.

Owner Access

Owner or owner-designated representatives will retain access rights to the venue at all times.

Assignment

The Renter(s) shall not assign any interest or otherwise transfer the facility or any part thereof or permit the use of the facility to any party other than the Renter(s).

Governance

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the State of Mississippi. Any legal actions or demands shall be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Mississippi.

Modification.

No alteration or other modification of this Agreement shall be effective unless such modification is in writing and signed by both the Owner and Renter(s).
